이 과목에서는 데이터를 분석하여 유용한 정보를 추출하고 모델을 만들어 예측에 사용하는 데이터 마이닝의 중요한 알고리즘, 기반 기술, 대용량 데이터를 효과적으로 처리하는 마이닝 기술 등을 학습한다.
특히 이러한 목적을 위한 기계 학습의 실용적인 기초와 새로운 패러다임을 소개하여 여러 실제 세계 도메인 응용에 어떻게 적용하는지에 대해 다룬다.

This course covers important algorithms of data mining, for effectively processing large amounts of data and analyzing data to extract useful information. Especially, students will learn practical foundations and new paradigms in creating machine learning models and predictions, and how they apply to real-world domain applications
