첨단융합학부 신입생들의 전공탐색을 위한 기초필수과목으로 융합데이터과학의 다양한 분야를 탐색한다. 이 과목을 통하여 융합데이터과학의 핵심개념과 다양한 응용분야를 소개하여 향후 전공선택에 필요한 필수적인 정보를 제공한다. 또한 학생들이 관련 산업분야에 진출할 수 있도록 커리어 구축을 위한 학습지도를 한다.
